Lighthouses - Another Nautical Inspiration

What is a lighthouse? It is typically a conical shaped tower that is designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses and used as a navigational aid for maritime pilots. Lighthouses can be at sea or on inland waterways. They mark dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals, reefs, safe entries to harbors, and can also assist in aerial navigation. Because of the expense associated with their maintenance, the number of lighthouses in operation has declined and they are now being replaced by modern electronic navigational systems such as strobes. This summer, I had several visitors from out of state and the number 1 request of each visitor was "can we go to the beach?" and naturally each time my response was YES! Girl With The Dragon Tattooed Pillow

Last night I had a crazy dream, I dreamt that I got a tattoo of a dragon on my forearm. Instead of breathing fire, the dragon was breathing hearts and flowers. Why is this a crazy dream? I do not have any tattoos nor do I have piercings because I am deathly afraid of needles. I admire body art, but I do so from afar. One of my passions is doing silk ribbon embroidery. It's quick, it's easy, it's beautiful, it's instant gratification - its also very delicate.
