Up-Cycled Plant Pot Project

Up cycling and recycling are a huge deal in my household. I try to re-purpose or recycle as much and as often as possible. This morning I has a chance to up-cycle a broken soup bowl. Blooms from my garden

I wanted to add some color to my patio garden so I went to my favorite nursery to pick up some inexpensive foliage. The Alcea Rosea Chaters Double Yellow immediately caught my eyes. Gardening is one of my passions, but when you live in a light deprived townhouse (like I do), gardening can become challenging.  Initially, I had several tiny planters crammed into the only corner of the house that gets natural light, but then it got a bit over crowded and I had rethink my gardening strategy.
