A Beautiful Day
Yesterday my son got up early, got on his bike, rode 1.75 miles to my favorite nursery and picked out this beauty. I placed it in a vase that my best friend had made for me in Haiti. indeed, it was a beautiful day.

I have been collecting succulents for the past year or so. It seems they are the only plants I can keep alive. Below, is the first of my collection. I got it in the floral department in Walmart. The day I saw it I thought, now that plant is begging to be a part of one of my projects....
