Back Patio Furniture Makeover

About 10 years ago I purchased my first 'grown up' patio set. About two years ago they started showing their age. I was going to replace them, but I was having a hard time finding something affordable that fits my true personality - something bursting with color. I decided to make them over. Blooms from my garden

I wanted to add some color to my patio garden so I went to my favorite nursery to pick up some inexpensive foliage. The Alcea Rosea Chaters Double Yellow immediately caught my eyes. Gardening is one of my passions, but when you live in a light deprived townhouse (like I do), gardening can become challenging.  Initially, I had several tiny planters crammed into the only corner of the house that gets natural light, but then it got a bit over crowded and I had rethink my gardening strategy.
