A Beautiful Day

Yesterday my son got up early, got on his bike, rode 1.75 miles to my favorite nursery and picked out this beauty. I placed it in a vase that my best friend had made for me in Haiti. indeed, it was a beautiful day. Light bulb air plant topiary

What would you do with and abundance of air plants and a burnt out light bulb? Here is what I did. [caption id="attachment_80" align="alignnone" width="410" caption="Light bulb air plant topiary"][/caption] I removed the top as well as the internal portions of the light bulb - (Click here for how to) - blinged it up a bit, etched some daises on the top portion and added some crushed shells and pebbles.
