Wooden Bar Stool Mod.

My local Ace Hardware store was having a sale on the wooden bar stools pictured below. I needed  2 stools for my kitchen, but I have been holding out for something ultra modern. The $13.00 price tag was appealing so I decided to make the purchase. Since the stools did not match my decor, I decided to modify them. I sprayed painted them cobalt blue (my favorite color). I created this piece several years ago - my intention was to use it on my business card. I did not end up using it, instead I opted for something more graphic. If you have an opportunity to take a silk ribbon embroidery class, you should - it's instant gratification. Use hand crafted, one-of-a-kind pillows to add original art to your home. The image on the pillow cover pictured below was first created in Adobe Illustrator, then the finished image was printed on organic cotton textile.
