Wooden Bar Stool Mod.

My local Ace Hardware store was having a sale on the wooden bar stools pictured below. I needed  2 stools for my kitchen, but I have been holding out for something ultra modern. The $13.00 price tag was appealing so I decided to make the purchase. Since the stools did not match my decor, I decided to modify them. I sprayed painted them cobalt blue (my favorite color). I created this piece several years ago - my intention was to use it on my business card. I did not end up using it, instead I opted for something more graphic. If you have an opportunity to take a silk ribbon embroidery class, you should - it's instant gratification.
