Up-Cycled Plant Pot Project

Up cycling and recycling are a huge deal in my household. I try to re-purpose or recycle as much and as often as possible. This morning I has a chance to up-cycle a broken soup bowl.

A little clue was all that was necessary to put this bowl back together. Once the glue was set, I placed some pebbles in the bottom of the bowl and planted a succulent.

I added this beauty to my balcony garden – and it fits right in.

My friends know that I am always looking for vintage items to put my plants in, so  when my best friend saw this vintage container at a yard sale, he just had to rescue it on my behalf.

I had 2 succulents that I think looks like lotus flowers that were perfect for this pot.

I this this creation is Zen and serene, so I called it my Serenity. Some micro shells and a starfish completes the look.

my serinity xoxo,
